Abstract:Convexity of solutions is an important geometric property, which is related to the existence and regularity of solutions. There are mainly two method to study the convexity: macroscopic convexity method and microscopic convexity method. In this talk, we will introduce the technic of microscopic convexity method(that is constant rank theorem method), including the convexity of solutions, convexity of (spatial) level sets, and curvature estimate of (spatial) level sets of elliptic and parabolic equations.
